Aurora Aksnes was born the 15th of June, 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Popularly referred to as Aurora and occasionally stylized using the letters in uppercase as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from journalists as well as from the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band to promote John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are two of the most well-known covers by the artist. Katy Perry's support for her track Runaway in a blog post earned the artist additional acknowledgement. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft, and becoming attracted by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not for the purpose of a career or as an interest, but for the sake of growing. For this reason, she began writing music that was her own. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as the style of Bjork. Her mother encouraged her to perform her songs in public, not to gain fame but rather to assist others in understanding how valuable their voices are and how they can do for the world. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. It wasn't until she was 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. The singer claims that she is a fan of creating songs. Music is for her the most effective way for expressing anything.
